Driving back from a consultation today the accelrator peddle fell off. so i go to hit my hazards and pull over to the hard shoulder on the m1 and my hazards dont work. uh oh! so i pull over and put the peddle back on and limp to the services. luckily aa man came to the rescue with a clip. it musnt of been put back on yesturday after it was removed for the welding. nevermind. scared the crap out of me though.

The exhaust arrived today and was fitted took a little video cant really here it to well. will do now untill i get my proper system!.

Be wary of this ebay seller

Please be wary of saartok123 he is very rude and sells cars not as described. He enver reported in the auction that the milometer was not working nor the heating controls or that the exhaust had huge holes which snapped while driving home. I asked for a £50 refund to cover a new back box which is what i paid for one urgently on ebay and here is what he said. i even sent him the pictures and the videos as evidence:

It would have been cheaper & quicker at kwikfit especially as you need it so urgently for work. look at this from my point of view. You drove 200 miles in a £450 car that is 19 years old, A £30 wear & tear item failed you. Your boyfriend calls me & states that he knows more about cars than me even though I have been in the trade longer than he has been able to speak, basically he spoke to me like a fool & expected me to take it, Despite this the call was ended amicably with an agreement that we would speak this morning. You texted me & I tried to speak to you both so this could be sorted out straight away, you wont let me have the car inspected so what am I to believe? It is my firm belief that you had every intention of trying to claim the £50 back through paypal & I dont believe that the car is damaged at all & you had already planned to put a different rear silencer on the car & broke this one while removing it.Do you really think I am that desperate for £450 that I would put my wife & children in a car thats going to break? A point that Dan agreed with me on also. You wrongly left negative feedback as you didnt discuss the problem with me. had you let my Brother inspect the car he would have then gone to kwikfit with you & paid for the repair on my behalf. because you have a problem with communicating normally (speech) you have lost out. All your 1 feedback negative rating has done is make you look silly. As you will see you are in a very small minority & its amazing that the only negatives received are from people with no or low feedback. You really havent a clue how ebay works have you? I wish you success in your future scams on ebay & hope you learn how to communicate with people properly to save upsetting anyone else in the future.

Drive home and the first problems

Well i picked the car up in worthing and had a good drive home. the exhaust snapped half way through the journey though! pictures and video below. so off to ebay to buy a back box. i didnt really want to start spending money on the car rigth away i found a cheap peco big bore exhaust. not ideal but it was the cheapest i could find. I will probably replace this at a later date with a powerflow system so this is just temporary.
